Novatek says gas output grows 0.8% to 40.23 bcm in Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- Gas production of Russia’s independent gas producer Novatek grew by 0.8% on the year to 40.23 billion cubic meters in January–June, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Hydrocarbon production grew by 1.7% to 321.9 million barrels of oil equivalent. Production of liquid hydrocarbons increased by 5.1% to 6.1 million tonnes.

Total natural gas sales, including liquefied natural gas (LNG), grew by 6.3% to 40.63 billion cubic meters. Sales of gas on the Russian market grew by 0.7% to 34.42 billion cubic meters. LNG sales on the global market increased by 53.1% to 6.21 billion cubic meters.
